At the 22nd Annual EAU Congress - organised from 21-24 March - a new, independent website called UroSource was launched. UroSource (www.urosource.com) is an online service especially created to facilitate the retrieval and distribution of specialised medical information, events and related activities relevant to urologists.

UroSource is an extensive database filled with scientific articles, fact sheets, key-article reports, meetings and congress reports and related urological literature. The database will accommodate for, and support, extensive video libraries and archives. This online platform, which is a free service, will be updated on a daily basis to include the latest news on urology.
Future medical training is expected to further exploit the use of online or internet-based databases, and urologists can certainly benefit from an electronic-based information retrieval system.
The goal is to fill up whatever gaps there are on information regarding international advances in urology. Moreover, the new website will also serve as a focal point where urologists can quickly exchange information.
